We are an Operation Encompass School

Operation Encompass is a police and education early information safeguarding partnership that helps schools to offer immediate support to children who are experiencing domestic abuse.

Operation Encompass makes sure that there is a notification to a school’s trained Designated Safeguarding Lead, before the start of the next school day, after an police have attended a domestic abuse incident where there are children related to any of the people involved in the incident.

This sharing of information allows for appropriate support to be given, dependent upon the needs and wishes of the child.
