During this current period of school closure, we are now pleased to be able to offer eligible parents and pupils access to free school meals by supplying supermarket eGift cards, that can be spent locally to you. The DfE have funded these eGift cards as part of a national scheme. You will be able to choose which supermarket you would like an eGift card for including Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and more.
Eligible families will be receiving their eCode via email w/c 25th January 2021 to provide lunch time meals for three weeks until half term.

Dear Parents
Understandably, we have had a lot of enquiries from parents about laptops and devices from the Department for Education (DfE) for families who need them. We are doing everything we can to support families who need a device or need to be connected to the internet. At this moment in time, we have been allocated just over 80 devices across our 5 schools (which currently serve just over 3000 pupils).
Dear Parents and Carers,
Following the Prime Ministers announcement on Monday 4th January 2021 confirming School closures until February half term 2021, school will now be closed to all pupils except for pupils of critical workers and vulnerable pupils.
Free School Meals and Vouchers
Following the Prime Ministers announcement on Monday 4th January 2021, educational establishments are still awaiting further clarification and guidance from the Government regarding plans for Free School Meals and any potential Free School Meals voucher schemes. Therefore, we do not have any vouchers available for distribution at this stage.
Dear Parents and Carers,
Following on from the text message that you received yesterday and the Prime Minister announcing a national lockdown, Highfield will now be closed until further notice.
Please be assured that your child’s teacher will provide a remote education for your children, combining live lessons, some pre-recorded content and links to other learning experiences and opportunities. Your child’s teacher will be available to support them from 8:30 until 3:30 with the exception of the one-hour lunch break.
