You are invited to attend a Reception Workshop on the above date, in the reception classrooms. The theme for the workshop is ‘Autumn’. We would love all the parents to come along and join in making some special autumn decorations with the children. You will also have the opportunity to complete our exciting ‘Autumn Hunt’ in the garden! It is a fantastic opportunity to come and support your child’s learning.

Year 4 Parents Workshop - Friday 23.09.16 at 9:30 a.m.
You are invited to attend a Year 4 Writing Workshop on the above date. During the event, we will provide you with some information and strategies to support your child with their writing development. We will also discuss plans for a PA High School which is an exciting new project that will relate to your child.

Parents Meeting - Secondary School Application Forms - Thursday 22.09.16 at 2.45 p.m.
You are invited to attend a Secondary School Applications meeting on the above date. During the meeting we will provide you with information on how to fill in the application form and we will have staff available to help you complete the form online.
IMPORTANT: All parents who need support with completing the application form should attend this meeting.

On Friday 30th September we are hosting Coffee Mornings at all of our schools in the academy.
We are inviting all of our parents and families along for a slice of cake and a cuppa to help raise money for a worthy cause, the Macmillan Nurse Cancer fund. Coffee mornings will be held at Prince Albert, Heathfield and Highfield school from 9am to 10:15am.

Dear Parent / Guardians,
We would like to introduce our members of staff that make up the Child Safety Team for the academy. The teams aims are to ensure that our schools have the most rigorous safeguarding systems and procedures.
Prince Albert School
For this half term the child safety team are working with parents and children on the topic PREVENT. Prevent is a national strategy to reduce the risk of radicalisation and exposure of extremist activity to our children.
We will be sending out information following on from this letter with details of a parent workshop on Prevent and what parents can do to help their children stay safe. The team will also be sharing advice and tips for parents and guardians on the school websites.

This is an exciting new project that the Prince Albert Community Trust are working on supported by King Edwards VI Aston and the King Edwards Foundation. We are in the application stage for a brand new Secondary Free School that is being proposed for a September 2019 opening in Birmingham. Please note that the children finish school for the summer holidays on Thursday 21st July 2016. Can we remind everyone to check the lost property box before we break up, as all unclaimed articles will be disposed of at the end of term. The lost property box is now located in the parent shelter near to the Highfield Road Entrance.
